7 Simple Tools I Use to Run My Business

This is painful.

I did the numbers and in the first two years of working for myself, I wasted $2,131 on tech and tools that just didn’t work for me as a Solopreneur.

*criiinge* I could have bought a plane ticket with that, sippin’ rose on a beach somewhere instead of spending my time in a rabbit hole of Youtube Tutorials & Customer Support 😬✈️🏝

But after a lot of testing, I found simple tools that have actually helped me work smarter...not harder.

So to save you from the same painful tech run around, I’m sharing a list of the sanity-saving tools I use to keep me running smoothly.

The 7 Simple, Sanity-saving Tools I Use To Run My Business

1. Kajabi

Kajabi has been a game-changer, and honestly without it in my life, I would still be struggling to duct-tape a bunch of different tech together.

It has given me a one-stop-shop for my website (which people always ask about), my online course, landing pages, email marketing, affiliate marketing. One login, one password to basically everything.

2. Canva

This is a design tool for non-graphic designers. If you need beautifully designed templates for presentations or Instagram Stories - Canva has your back. It's easy to use, and offers a free version and a mobile app to create on-the-go.

3. Haute Stock

Ooooh this site! It's curated, styled drool-worthy photographs and design templates to use when you don't have the time or money to organise a photoshoot of your own. The images are nothing like other stock photo sites - they look natural and personal. This tool is paid, but it's worth it.

4. Unsplash

I could spend hours scrolling through Unsplash. Beautiful, unique photography that just feels real. It's like stock photos that don't suck. And all FREE to use.

5. Planoly

Clean and beautifully simple. I am in love with PLANOLY to organise my social media content and calendar. It's super easy to use, with a drag and drop Instagram Grid to always give you an overview of your feed look and feel.

6. Quickbooks

I definitely took my time, asking around, about a tool that would basically do as much finance admin for me as possible for me. This tool helps me create and send branded invoices quickly and easily, keep track of over due invoices and taxes. You know, all the important money stuff.

7. G-Suite

I use G-suite for my custom email domain ([email protected]) - the good thing  is that looks and works the same way as gmail, so there were no learning curves like other custom email hosts. You can create custom emails for multiple members of your team or if you need a different email like a customer support email address.
